Road Works Notice

From Sunday, 17 September, 19:00, roadworks will take place at ASS Riverside Drive and take approximately ten days to complete. A road closure will be implemented during the hours of 19:00 – 06:00, and traffic will be diverted via Perth Road, Hawkhill, West Marketgait and A991 South Union Street.

On Monday, 18 September, from 09:15 to Tuesday, 19 September, at 15:00, a lane closure will be in operation for both East and Westbound traffic between the Riverside East Roundabout and A991 South Union Street. Through traffic will be maintained in both directions during this period, and the lane closure will be removed out with these times.

Bus services will be affected by this closure, and we would advise bus passengers to visit www.travelinescotland.com or telephone the bus operator for further details of diversion routes and alternative bus stops.

If you are looking for alternative parking locations, we suggest you park your vehicle at our sister museum, Verdant Works (postcode: DD15BT), only a 15-minute walk away from Discovery Point. We offer one of the best rates in the city – only £5 parking for 24 hours. Parking can be registered on arrival by booking your space on the ‘Phone and Pay’ Parking app. Verdant Works Museum visitors get free parking by registering a vehicle at the museum reception. Note that the spaces are subject to availability.
