Members of Dundee Heritage Trust headed to Holyrood on the 26th of February to talk about plans for some exciting, eco-friendly updates to Discovery Point.
These bold renovations will see Discovery Point fitted out with a brand new climate change gallery, drawing much needed attention to global warming and the effect it will have on our way of life.
The building will also undergo an eco-friendly face-lift. Amongst other upgrades, solar panels will be fitted to the roof of the new cafe/restaurant to provide green energy to the building.
The group were joined by Camilla Nichol, representative of UKAHT (United Kingdom Arctic Heritage Trust), who spoke on the importance of marine conservation.
The event was the first step on an exciting journey for Discovery Point and the team are excited to continue to work on the project.
